Kuwait City (IAMINKUWAIT), Feb 6th: The members of the National Assembly said that they wish to resolve the crisis of housing and addressed that it is one of the persisting concerns of Kuwait.
The MP’s addressed the issue when the members enquired about the housing crisis, the plans of the government for the next five years, the allotment of housing to the citizens and about the infrastructural ventures.
Although the previous parliaments have addressed the issue, the issue has been persisting over the years. They empathized that the citizens are fed up of the discussions by the government, and that it is time to resolve the housing crisis.
MP’s were angered over the issue of the Public Authority For Housing care, that they did not distribute the land and that they did only on paper .They also brought up the issue that the citizens, give the property for rent for half the citizens salary .
Some of the newly build infrastructures lack basic utilities of combating fire and crimes , said the MP’s.
They urged the Minister for Housing Jenan Bousheshri to speed up the projects in the housing sector.
Furthermore, the MP’s suggested the private parties to update the infrastructure ,launch construction in uninhabited locations , adopt reality mortgages ,abstain from restricting credit ,considering the fact that most of the salary of the citizens do not exceed KD 12,000 per year .
