KUWAITCITY(IAMINKUWAIT) : KIB sponsored a series of graduation projects for students of the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum at Kuwait University, participating in the annual engineering design exhibition organized by the University.

Sponsorship was part of the Bank's pioneering program of social responsibility and its continuing efforts to provide material and moral support for educational activities and youth initiatives.

He stressed that he is constantly seeking to support students and empower young people, and is keen to participate in the events that target them, in addition to his commitment to adopt their projects and ideas appropriate, believing that the youth sector is the most vital and important to build a better future for this country, One of the cornerstones of his CSR program.

This year, KIB selected a number of projects sponsored by the College of Engineering and Petroleum, including the water wheel project for students in Al Enezi, Nasser Al Zanki, Saud Al Ali and Ali Ibrahim, creating a wheel for power generation using the power of sea waves in rural areas.

And support for the project of producing benzoic acid for the students of Al-Ghalia Al-Mishan, Hanin Al-Qabbani, Maria Afioni and Amani Al-Fadhli, which aims to build a 99.6 percent pure benzoic acid plant from the oxidation of toluene.

The project has been sponsored by the students of Al-Raghdan, Rima Al-Rubaibi, Anwar Al-Mutairi and Noura Al-Mutairi, which aims at solving the problems of Karwah Island, protecting them from erosion and protecting coral reefs. Which aims to make a device that can repair cracks in roads, at a lower cost and faster way without having to close the road for several hours.

The bank has supported the Sun Tracking Robot project for students Ibrahim Al-Shuraikh, Mohammed Al-Sayed, Ibrahim Al-Mana and Abdul Aziz Al-Awaid, which aims to devise an automatic device that produces energy using sunlight and stores it in a battery to save a lot of electricity.

KIB has always sought to connect with the young people in Kuwait and create a range of products and services tailored to their lifestyle, as it seeks to enhance the experience of customers from different segments of society.
