KUWAITCITY(IAMINKUWAIT) : The Public Authority for Civil Information today launched the new version of the Kuwait Winder-3 application for smart devices, after rebuilding the application using the latest software languages.
"This update comes within the context of the ongoing development by the TRA to serve more than 700,000 users,
He pointed out that the voice guidance service has been greatly improved. A proposed saving feature has been added to alternate routes when choosing the destination and alerting the user if there is a better route to shorten access time and avoid congestion.
He added that the application will show the user during the driving speed allowed in the street and alerted in the event of exceeding and the property of reverse directions on the glass of the car during night driving.
Al-Assousi explained that the application provides many alerts, such as those for the user, which the user can activate through the list of settings for the application.
He said that the landscape has been used more than 3 million times since its launch in March 2018. As a result, this feature has been greatly improved, adding the possibility of reviewing the historical images of the place and the possibility of using the camera to review the site.
He said that through the application of KuwaitFinder, the Authority provides a set of modern satellite images covering all parts of the country and is updated periodically every three months, indicating that these images are used through the spatial information portal to Kuwait, which has been officially launched by the Authority for some time.
He added that in support of those wishing to use KuwaitFinder to support its work, the Commission added the possibility of linking to the application through standard software interfaces through the use of the short link to search for an area by the automatic number of the address or detailed address.
Al-Assousi stressed that the Authority is an active and essential partner in the projects that Kuwait seeks to accomplish to achieve the vision of (New Kuwait 2035) through the various projects carried out by the Commission.
