Kuwait City(IAMINKUWAIT), Feb 6th: Labor Secretary of the Philippines Silvestre Bello III said that the temporary ban on the deployment of the Filipino worker remain in effect, due to the half baked report sent by the Kuwait officials .The officials of Philippines says that nothing has been done to seek into the causes of deaths of seven Filipino household workers.

The Manila times quoted Bello saying that the Kuwaiti officials have disappointed the Philippines, by not presenting an investigation report on the deaths of the citizens. He explained the findings were based on the existing reports from the Philippine Labour office (POLO) and Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior.

He disclosed that he requested their labor attaché to come up with own findings, and not the findings of two separate agencies. He is waiting for the two reports to be submitted and only then he can decide whether to lift the temporary suspension, on the issuance of overseas employment certificates to Filipinos bound for Kuwait or declare a total ban.
